EMDR Master Psychotherapist

An advanced title for EMDR Senior Psychotherapists looking for special verification of their credentials.  EMDR Master Psychotherapists have demonstrated benevolent leadership In EMDR psychotherapy, AIP Interventions, as well as volunteerism in their local or global communities.

To Become an EMDR Master Psychotherapist:


  •  Status as an EGNetwork Senior Psychotherapist for at 3 consecutive years
  •  Have a minimum of 10 (ten) years working in EMDR Therapy
  • Proof of 1000 (one thousand) additional clinical sessions
  • Complete 10 hours of participation in an EGNetwork Global Peer Consultation Group with Senior and/or EMDR Master Psychotherapist(s)
  • Transcription/recording of one EMDR session with a specialty focus or technique that you have developed, with explanations of the case history and management, 
  •  Develop and present an advanced EMDR/AIP or AIP paraprofessional workshop with your specialty focus, preferably with at least one other peer professional 
  • Contribution work 20 hours of volunteerism and/or benevolent (unpaid) program/workshop development to help either expand EMDR and AIP informed interventions accessible in your own country or abroad – this can include assisting with training, helping NGO’s, leading an EGNetwork Global Peer Consultation Group; serving on an EGNetwork Global Committee, etc.
  • Declaration/Proof of 12 (twelve) Advanced Credits recognized by EGNetwork taken in the last two years.  Trainings may either be attended or one(s) you provided
  • Pay the Master Psychotherapist fee
