EGNetwork Recognition of EMDR Psychotherapy Trainers
Essential Requirements for EGNetwork recognition:
EMDR Basic Training Organization or Recognized Trainer offering a minimum of:
- 40 hours of theory and practica
- 10 hours of consultation/supervision.
All EMDR Basic Training courses must adhere to
Francine Shapiro's EMDR theory and practice as taught in her book (3rd Edition).
Although EGNetwork does not verify, accredit or certify any EMDR Psychotherapy trainers, it does acknowledge trainers and organizations that maintain the standards for basic training established by Dr. Shapiro. All ISETT (International Society of EMDR Therapy Trainers) are recognized by EGNetwork.

Recognized Organizations for Certification Equivalency
A current and valid Certificate of Certified, Approved, or Accredited Therapist from an EGNetwork recognized professional EMDR organization, whether domestic or abroad.
